The EVOTION project is about enabling collection of big data from all actors related to treatment of hearing loss to inform, support, and develop hearing health care policies.

The EVOTION project is a EU-funded large collaborative project with many international partners and 1000+ test subjects in Greece, the UK, and Denmark. 

The test subjects in EVOTION collect and transmit data about their everyday use of their hearing aids for a one-year period. Using these real-world data, the EVOTION partners will find patterns in when, how, and why hearing aids are being used in specific sound environments.  The subsequent big data analytics is expected to produce ecologically valid evidence for the formulation and validation of public health policies.
